Why Enter Your Products for Evaluation?

Ultimate Beverage Challenge provides expert and authoritative evaluation of wines and spirits for producers, importers and marketers through its three innovative annual competitions: Ultimate Spirits Challenge,  Ultimate Wine Challenge and Ultimate Cocktail Challenge.

Ultimate Beverage Challenge helps build your brands by offering powerful marketing support:

  • Tasting notes for all products rated 85 points and higher.
  • Challenge logos for use in promotion online and in print.
  • Certificates of Commendation that feature score, accolade and award, for use in point-of-sale, at events and for public relations.
  • Icons that indicate UBC’s authoritative results for Chairman’s Trophy, Finalist, and individual scores, or both print and online use.
  • Recognition of products that are Great Value with free, downloadable icon.
  • Shelf-talkers that feature Challenge logo, score, award, accolade and UBC tasting note.
  • Purchase of high-scoring spirits directly from UBC web site’s results pages. UBC is affiliated with renowned New York City retailer, Astor Wine & Spirits, which ships directly to consumers on a national basis.
  • Product images located next to each product’s results on the UBC web site provide indelible brand impressions.
  • No importer? No problem! Product not available in the U.S.? UBC will apply on your behalf for the documentation required by U.S. Customs. On request, we will add a note “Seeking U.S. importer” alongside the product listing on our web site. Products entered in any of the three Challenges do not need to be available nationally or even distributed in the U.S.
  • UBC results are widely distributed and seen by retailers, restaurateurs, bartenders and distributors through UBC’s affiliation with leading trade publications and web sites such as Beverage Media and The Spirit reaching over 300,000 wine and spirits influencers and buyers.
  • Chairman’s Trophy winners from Ultimate Spirits Challenge will be invited to participate in a special UBC tasting at Tales of the Cocktail, in New Orleans in July 2012.
