Tasting Note:
Bright sunshine yellow color. The first aromas are intensely grainy and woody, with nuances of sea breeze, unbuttered toasted multigrain bread, and baking spices, especially mace and nutmeg, salted fish, malted milk balls. Flavors are vivid, slightly smoky (pipe tobacco), and underpinned by vanilla extract, marmalade, toasted muffins. Aftertaste is richly textured, honeyed. Lovely, sophisticated malt.
