Michelle Martinez is a professional bartender based in Brooklyn. After her arrival in New York City, she became the first female head bartender at Brooklyn’s Maison Premiere, the prestigious New Orlean’s style cocktail and absinthe bar. Michelle has also managed the bar at Restaurant Daniel, the three-star Michelin flag ship establishment of celebrity chef Daniel Boulud. Michelle started bartending about ten years ago while attending Fashion School. Her cocktails are often inspired by the application of creativity and imagination in celebrations of the affinity between mixology and art. Michelle has been able to pair her years of hospitality industry experience with her creative talents in the development of bar concepts for various New York City bars. She is a recent graduate of the BAR 5-Day Program, class of 2022, confirming her deep understanding of spirits from distillation to consumption.
