Dave Bletsch has spent nearly 2 decades in the service industry. He started behind the bar while living in Ithaca and attending The Hotel School at Cornell University. He credits Stella's (and several mentors there) with his introduction to cocktails and for sparking a curiosity for all things spirit related.
After a 6 year journey through the back-of-house, Dave's returned to the bar and cocktail scene at Cork & Kerry - a cocktail-focused, speakeasy-influenced trio of bars on Long Island in Floral Park, Rockville Centre, and Farmingdale. "The bar offers the best of both sides of a restaurant. We get the joy, energy, and satisfaction that comes from serving and interacting with guests while still holding onto the fabrication and creation aspect that intrigued so many of us in the first place."
