Zip is a compression format used to combine several files at once and reduce downloading times. A Zip file can be decompressed using freely available software packages such as www.winzip.com or www.stuffit.com.
To extract files from a zip folder: On the desktop, double-click My Computer, and then locate the compressed folder you just downloaded.
To extract all files or folders, right-click the compressed folder, and then click Extract All.
In the Extract wizard, specify where you want the files extracted to.
