Tasting Note:
Opulent amber in the glass, the nose is presented with strong suggestions of warm vanilla custard, brown butter, and salted caramel. The initial sweetness of the nose is soon washed with waves of charred American oak, burnt mesquite, drying sea salt and plum. Gripping wood tannin on the palate which comes bold and brawny but quickly settles with a diminishing pepperiness.
