Auburn/topaz appearance. There's an intriguing aromatic feature of dried grapes, wine, honey in the first nosing, then the bouquet turns dry, baked, toasty. Flavor-wise, the dominant flavor is dried fruits (cherry, raisins, figs) but beneath that layer lies a dusty dry graininess that's the foundational flavor. Aftertaste is roasted, leathery.
