Tracy Ellen Kamens

Tracy Ellen Kamens is a wine educator, writer and consultant who combines her passion for teaching with her love of wine.

Marrying her experience in academia with her formal wine certifications, Tracy teaches classes and education skills and serves as an Ambassador for the Crus Bourgeois du Médoc.  In addition to presenting at international wine conferences, Tracy has taught at the International Wine Center, New York University, Cornell University and Baruch College. Previously, she served as Membership Director for the French Wine Society and spent three years as a full-time education consultant for the Society of Wine Educators.

As a freelance wine writer, Tracy has written for various publications including Wine Enthusiast, Palate Press magazine, and The SOMM Journal and was a Fellowship Recipient for the Professional Wine Writers’ Symposium. She is the author of the It's A Winederful Life blog and publishes Drinking Wisely & Well magazine.

Tracy holds a doctorate of education from the University of Pennsylvania, the Certified Wine Educator credential from the Society of Wine Educators and the Wine & Spirits Education Trust’s Diploma of Wine & Spirits. She is also a Certified Wine Judge through the American Wine Society and was recently on the jury for the Radici del Sud Wine Competition in Puglia, Italy.
