Tasting Note:
This light-caramel colored umeshu opens with rich stone fruit aromas and a hint of oxidation, which nods at the fresh plums used in the process. The palate is easygoing and pleasant with lots of juicy plum acidity accented with marzipan and a hint of tannin from the skin.
