The Cabernet Sauvignon barrel gives way to heather honey, mango, tea leaves, and tobacco on the nose. The ex-wine barrel imparts red berries and warming spice to the already sturdy structure of Nilla Wafer, cast iron corn bread, and Demerara sugar on the palate.
