Tasting Note:
Pouring a rich caramel color, pronounced notes of charred American oak introduce spicy accents of black pepper, vanilla, nutmeg, and coriander. Their is a lovely woodsy character to the barrel aged gin reminiscent of cedar, cypress, and douglas fir. The palate is incredibly lively with hard wood tannins that are present and desirable. A lasting finish that drifts down gently.
