A deep chestnut color with green reflets hints at a Sherry cask maturation, but the Muscat barrel gives a similar color with roasted walnut, bruised apple, and dried sage aromas. Velvety on the palate, this conveys big flavors of chocolate-coated fig, clafoutis, and roasted pecans.
