A nose of oak and other woods drifts from the glass with suggestions of buttered, toasted sourdough bread. Appetizing notes of caramel and oven roasted root vegetables. Slight umami blend of sweetness akin to a deglazed pan. Finish is bold with leather and smoked wood.
